For the safety valve with a laver, it can be opened manually with the laver when the medium's pressure is up to ovar 75% of that atwhich the valve opens.
Ful-bore safely valve's height of opening> 1/4 time the flow diameter with a large amount of discharge, the height of opening for alow-lift safety valve 1/20-1/40 time the fow diameter.

The types of valves are generally complled in accordance with the standard of the ministry of machine-building industry, JB3082004 “ Method of Compiling the Types of Valves " , which is composed of eight parts:

" W " indicates the material of sealing surface of seat which is processed directly together with the body. The materialof sealing surface of seat is indicated by a code of low hardness material if it different from the material of sealingsurface of disc. Remarks: lf the PN of cast-iron body is as much as or less than 1.8 MPa and the PN of carbon steel body is as much as of morethan 2.5MPa the present codes can omitted.

A42Y_16C indicates: The safety valve of closed spring loaded full bore, Connected with flange. The sealing surfacematerial is stellite, The nominal pressure is PN1.6MPa and the body material is carbon steel.
